Moorooka Madrasah/Moorooka Mosque aims to build a strong Islamic community in Brisbane that provides excellent Islamic education. Moorooka Madrasah was founded in March 2022, with the goal of bringing the sisters of our community together in a safe environment to learn their religion.
The sisters have built their foundational Islamic knowledge such as Aqeedah, whilst also completing Fiqh of At-Tahara (Purification) & As-Salah (Prayer) and Fiqh of Nikkah (Marriage) & At-Talaq (Divorce). The sisters are currently, studying Fiqh of Al-Siyam (Fasting) and the 40 Hadith of Imam An-Nawawi as well as, taking part in various Dawrah’s run by Moorooka Mosque.

Our team includes Imam's of Moorooka Mosque Sheikh Daud Guushaa & Sheikh Abshir Cilmi, Ustdah Abdirashid, Sr Hawa and the Moorooka Mosque/Madrasah sisters and brothers.
